| Marlins came out ready to play after a few weeks of rain outs. Unfortunately, the Marlins were not match for White Soxs starting pitcher. The Marlins were shut down to only two hits and some defensive errors for both teams. Hopeful next week for a W. |

| Katz set the tone in the early going by striking out the side in the 1st. Giving up 1 unearned run prior to his departure on the top of the fourth with a 7-1 lead, it was all that would be necessary for the remainder of the game for the relief efforts of Newil Guzman and Zach Sands who closed the door while the offense continued it's barrage. Guzman collected a 5rbi day, 3 of them coming off a bases clearing triple that missed jumping over the fence by less than a foot.
