| What a Day for Baseball!
It was a great day for baseball between two tough Yankee squads—each reppin’ their counties, with the Southern Yankees from Broward and the Miami Yankees holdin’ it down for Dade.
The Southern Yankees came out swinging, jumping to a quick 8-0 lead in the first inning. But if you know the Miami Yankees, you know this team doesn’t quit. With plenty of game left, they stayed locked in, knowing there was time to turn things around.
Behind strong pitching and some timely hitting, the Miami Yankees stormed back, flipped the momentum, and took control to forge out a hard-earned win.
Big respect to the Southern Yankees—always a class act on the field. They play hard, they play right, and it’s always a pleasure sharing the diamond with them. |
