| The Metz came out swinging determine to show that they will be competing this season scoring 11 runs in the first three innings! The Metz were led by Elio Hernandez who was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's in his first game as a Metz. Eric Sanchez, Big Papi Delgado and PC Cabrera each had 2 hits and 2 RBI's. Andrew Smiley pitched a complete game striking out 16 batters,walking only 3 and gaving up only 3 hits in a complete dominating preformance. |

| great game with the Metz, their pitcher threw an excellent game and the astros came out slow having 6 runs scored in the first two innings due to base on balls and errors. Metz are a good team that you can not make too many mistakes or they will take advantage as they did on sunday... Astros will bounce back strong this weekend and will hope to meet the Metz again in the playoffs. |
