| Delray Nationals Captures Lead Early To Defeat Aventura Dodgers
Aventura Dodgers fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-6 loss to Delray Nationals on Sunday. Delray Nationals scored on a groundout by Ryan in the first inning, a walk by Jonathan in the first inning, a single by Oscar in the second inning, a double by Ryan in the second inning, and a error in the second inning.
Despite the loss, Aventura Dodgers did collect five hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Delray Nationals had 15 hits on the way to victory.
Delray Nationals pulled away for good with five runs in the second inning. In the second Oscar singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Ryan doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and an error scored one run for Delray Nationals.
Ian Leibman was on the mound for Aventura Dodgers. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing ten runs on six hits and striking out one. Wilson Marte and Rey Sierra entered the game as relief, throwing three and a third innings and one inning respectively.
Marte, Sierra, Jesse Ramirez, Kevin Morales, and Dan Tovar each managed one hit to lead Aventura Dodgers.
Delray Nationals racked up 15 hits in the game. Oscar, Jonathan, Mike, Cody, and Carlos each had multiple hits for Delray Nationals.
