| It was business as usual for the Black Sox, as they won their 15th straight FMH contest by defeating the Cape Coral Grinders 11-2. Pitching was a stongpoint, with Matt Vorwald, Pat Roemer, and Ryan Millican dividing up the duties equally. Vorwald struck out 7, allowing 1 run on a hit and 2 walks. Millican allowed 4 hits but struck out 2 and did not yield a run. Roemer picked up a save, allowing 3 hits and striking out two, holding the Grinders to one run.
Offensively, the Black Sox were led by Jason Guy, who had 3 hits including a triple and 2 RBI. Brad Haley picked up 3 hits of his own to drive in 2 as well. Justin Cook drew 3 walks, stealing two bases and scoring each time to provide the run production, while Jesse Grinstead walked 2 times. Mike Chikosky and Randy Summerall each kicked in 2 RBI, and Vorwald picked up two hits with a double and one RBI.
