| The Hitmen staff had the Padres bats on ice this day. Tommy Zawisza, Glenn Morris, and Steve Mason, combined to throw the 3 hit shutout. The Padres only attempt at scoring was cut short by Greyson Huber. Huber who was backing up an overthrown steal attempt at third, on the run, made a bare handed throw to nab the runner at the plate in the first. The Padres didn't reach third base after the 2nd inning. Mason also stroked two doubles from the plate. Tyler Yoder also added a double of his own and was 2 for 3 on the day. |
