| The Stingrays coming off another loss looking to get back in the win column. Stingers strike first and Mariners tie it up. Then the Stingers get back on top 3 to 1 playing well on both sides of the ball. But due to some defensive miscues the Mariners take the lead 5 to 3. With some great pitching and the defense tightened up we hold the Mariners. Then in the last inning the Stingers take back the lead 6 to 5 and with the Mariners having the last at bat as home team they have the tying run at 3rd and the go ahead run at 1st with 1 out. The next batter hits up the middle and its fielded by our second baseman touching second base and a throw to first turning a double play to end the game. It was a good commpetative game and the Big Sting handed out by a complete TEAM EFFORT. |
