| The Metz cursed to a 5-0 lead in the first 2 innings but the problem was the game didnt end there!!!The Metz relaxed and the red sox didn't and slowly they came back scoring two unearned runs in the 6th from a big error in RF which cost the Metz two runs and then in the 8th inning they made 4 more errors and the Red Sox scored 4 Unearned runs to beat the Metz and keep the small chance for a playoff spot alive. PC Cabrera started for the Metz and went 5 innings striking out 4 batter and giving up only 2 earned runs. Alex Lopez took the tough lost as he came in and endured a tough outing as the Metz made 5 errors behind him even though he struck out 5 batters and only gave up 4 hits. The Metz will be ready for the Playoffs as they know what they need to fix.... THE MENTAL PART OF THE GAME. The Metz do give credit to the Red Sox for not giving up and fighting all the way through and pulling out the must win game. |
