| A close game knotted at 1 run a piece from the first inning was deadlocked until the 5th inning. Once the Twins reliever came in, the Phillies bats went quiet, accumulating 8 K's after the 5th. The Twins then started chipping away and mounted a huge 8th inning 3-Run Inside-the-park home run which sealed the deal for the win.
On a brighter note, the Phillies showed a tremendous turn around and battle after last weeks routing. Tallying 7 hits and all with runners on base. Also adding to an explosive first and second inning with good at bats by Pete Troy, Steve A., and a huge RBI by Jed Simms. Hoping to continue the positive trend, the Phillies seek their first win on the young season next week.
