| Metz win opener big 18-8 behind strong hitting and pitching. Eric Sanchez had three hits and 4 RBI's. Brian Rojas and had three hits and 1 RBI. New comers Mike Menresa, Mike Orris, Mike Caplan all had two hits and 2 RBI's .Carlos Ramirez also each had two hits. Logan Sprioff hit a three run Bomb in his 1st AB he had never played baseball before!! Eddie Cabrera started the game and pitched 5 inning striking out 10 batters and picked up the win. Kenny Perez pitched a strong 6th inning and Leo Mayora showed he will be a strong closer for the team. |
