Brewers lose battle of Kendall

Despite strong pitching from AJ Bird giving up only 2 earned runs and striking out 8 in 5 innings, The Brewers came up short today, leaving 15 runners on base.

PC Cabrera Pitched 5-1/3 inning gave up only 2 earn runs striking out 2 walking 3 and hitting 2 batters Tim Brady pitched 2- 1/3 gave up no earn runs while striking out 3 batter walking 4 and htting 2 more batters for the win Tony Bergnas came in with two outs in the 8th inning with runners on the corners and promptly threw a wild pitch to score a run and hit the only batter he faced. Andy Gross then came in and got the last out of the game on a 4-3 grounder for the save with the tying run on third. It was the first win against a Premier team for the Metz of the Master division. The Metz all day kept allowing the young Brewers team back in the game by making 5 big errors which lead to 6 unearned runs. The Brewers were only able to get 7 hits off the much older pitching staff of the Kendall Metz all day. Jorge Hernandez led the offense going 2 for 2 with 4 stolen bases and scored 3 times Paul Ruggiano was 3 for 4 and scored 2 runs. Tim Brady was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and PC Cabrera was 1 for 3 with the biggest hit in the 7th driving in the tying and winning runs after the Brewers bought in THE OTHER HARD THROWING 22 yrs old right hander with the bases loaded he was able to strike out the first batter on three straight fast balls but on an 0-2 count on PC , he threw one fast ball too many and PC line a single into right field driving in the 2 runs . The Metz were able to scratch out 4 runs off of the First Hard throwing right hander of the Brewers in the first 5 inning who struke out 7 batter but also gave up 7 hits. The win was the Metz second in a row while it gives the priemer brewer team thier third loss in a row.
