| the miami red sox and the homestead hurricanes started off on a hard fought battle in the first 6 innings. in the first the redsox jumped ahead to 3-0 lead off pitcher mike rents, the bottom half of the opening inning the canes tied it up with a 3 run two out rally with george suarez and ledarious sanders coming up with big two out single than pat meyers drove them both in with a big two out triple bringing the score to 3-2 than otto flores drove him in with another big single. the canes took the lead in the second with a two out rbi single by ricky rodriguez to take the lead at 4-3 ,the canes would only be able to salvage two more runs with untimeley hitting threw out the whole game. the red sox would finaly break threw agian in the 6th with 7 runs breaking the game open and shut us down with great pitching. jed was 1-2 with 2bb george was 2-4 with two singles, pat 2-4 with 2rbis and a triple |
