| The Red Sox put on a display of quality baseball knocking off defending champs CG A's behind ace pitching by Cory Casuso and Luis Classe. Erik Enriquez hit his second homer of the season while Casuso added his first of the year. Sox scored 4 runs with two out in the top of the ninth to pull away from a tight game. |

| The A's came out flat to open the Spring 2010 Season and the re-vamped Miami Red Sox jumped all over them to defeat the A's in their opener by a score of 7-3. Alex Arteaga pitched a great game for the A's as he went the distance and the kept the A's close the entire game but could not get the support he needed to pick up the win. Albert Jardines provided some of the A's minimal offense as he went 2-4 with a run and RBI double. Adding doubles were Luis Cabral, Aron Marcinkoski and Isaac Seaone. Congrats to Mickey's Red Sox. They should be a team to watch out for this season! |
