| The Fort Lauderdale Yankees won their season opener with a 14-5 win over the Deerfield White Sox. Ryan Scott and Dan Ojst both crushed three run home runs. Newcomer Don Burgess also homered for the Yanks.
Jeff O'Kelley pitched seven strong innings for his first win in pinstripes. |
