| The Metz snapped a three gaming losing streak to the Dodgers behind a solid performance by PC Cabrera who got the win , Tim Brady's great middle relief and Tony Bergnes who closed out the show with two k's in one inning of work. The Metz had 13 hits and took advantage of the wild pitching by Dodger pitchers' scoring early and often in route to the win. Jorge Hernandez led the offense going 3/4 with three doubles, Tony Bergnes also went 3/4 with 4 RBI's missing the cycle by a homerun and James Giordano who had two hit and three RBI's. |

| The Dodgers began their 4th campaign in their brief history by losing to their rival Metz. Congratulations to the Metz on their first win of the season. 12 BB and 7 Hit Batters contributed to the Dodgers downfall, as well as 8 errors. There were positives, such as returning veteran Ray Romero who went 3/3 with 3 RBI's and Hugo Alpizar 3/4 with 1 RBI. The story of the day for the Dodgers was the outstanding play of newcomer Pedro Nunez (1/2) who made great plays at 3 different positions (LF, 3B, SS)! The good news is the Dodgers seem to have a lot to build on for the rest of the schedule. |
