| Nationals starting pitcher kept us off-balance with a heavy dose of curve balls and off-speed pitches. Terrible defense contributed to an early 7-1 deficit. Carlos C., the star of the game, pitched 4 scoreless innings in relief to stop the bleeding. In the 9th, the Red Sox would go on to score 6 runs to tie it, and nearly won it if not for a a shoestring catch by the the left fielder. Thanks to the pitch/catch duo of the Jays, and Alex for once again bringing the lumber to seal the tie in the 9th. |
