| It was another hot, muggy, drizzling day at Sunset Park. The D-Backs scored 5 runs in the 1st inning, highlighted by a 2 RBI double by Randy Fernandez. After a scoreless 2nd inning, Amalio Coleman's 2 RBI hit and Gabriel Marquez' RBI BB would lead to 3 runs in the 3rd for an 8-0 lead. The D-Backs would go on to cruise to a 12-3 victory over the short-handed White Sox. Mario Figueredo pitched 3 solid innings for The D-Backs to earn the win. Jay Habacht, Chris Rivero, Mike Schneider, and Xavier Ubiera also pitched well in the victory. Mario Figueredo, Ivan Asension, Yusbell Ortega, and Theo Koveos each had 2 hits.
