| The Palm Beach Angels of Coconut Creek (representing Greater Fort Lauderdale) took another step towards clinching the Masters Division pennant with a hard fought, 16-11 win over the never say die South Florida Dodgers.
Will Young led the Halos with four hits and five runs scored. Jose Morales also had four hits.
Paul Tunink, Jesus Rivera, and Jamie Siragusa added three hits each. Siragusa drove in four runs. Alvaro Gomez had a home run and three RBI.
The Dodgers were led by the all around great play of player of the week candidate Lee Gonzalez and the yeoman pitching of Carlos Pandolfo.
Gonzalez went four for four and made several outstanding plays at third base.
