Brewers & Yankees kiss & make up
by Southern Yankees (28+ Division)

The Miami Brewers and Southern Yankees battled in a well played game by both teams. The final score of 5-5 after time ran out & the rain came was unfortunately like kissing your little sister. Franklin Brito was dazzling on the mound & kept the lethal Brewers bats quiet with a masterful pitching performance. The sOUTHERN yankees opened the game with a quick 2 runs and the brewers answered with one of their own. in the second inning the game was tied at 2 apiece. the Southern Yankeees scored a run in the third after Hugo Gutierrez doubled and Reidy Oliva hit an RBI single to make the score 3-2. He scored on Sam Bartolettas rope in the gap to make the score 4-2. The score remained that same number after six innings as both pitchers were extremely tough. 23 year old ace Sean hernandez struck out 10 Yankee batters & scattered 13 hits in wiggling out of jams many times. In the 7th inning the Southern Yankees added an insurance run when Ken Silberling & German Octavo singled to put runners at first and second. Ray Asmar then lined a bullet up the middle which drove in the Yankees 5th run and going into the bottom of the 7th the Southern Yankees led 5-2. The resilient Brewers scored 2 runs in their bottom half of the 7th and the score was now 5-4 in a fabulously played game by both sides. in the 8th and 9th innings the Yankees left a man on third with one out(8th) and second with one out(9th). That proved to be crucial as the Brewers in the bottom of the ninth would score a run with two outs and tie the game. All in all a classic battle that was fundamental baseball at its best. We executed steals, hit and runs, sacrifices & cutoffs to perfection. Brewers ace and the leagues toughest Batting Average against pitcher shut down our big bats just enough. It was a tremendous step for the Southern Yankees and we have gained confidence for our remaining games. We have faced some really tough pitching and held our own. Sam Bartoletta led the Southern Yankees with 3 hits and Hector Perez and Whilmer Flores stroked 2 hits apiece. hATS OFF TO the Brew crew and Manager George kenyan in a game to remember. STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS!

Brewers tie it in the 9th
by Miami Brewers (28+ Division)

Solid pitching performances from both teams .both pitchers went the distance. On the Offensive side the Brew Crew struggled leaving 12 men on base. Definetely need to change that if Brewers gonna make a run for the Playoffs. On a Positive Note Bobby V had a 3 for 4 day with driving in the tying run in the 9th with 2 outs. Hats off to the Yankees on great game.
