Tigers debut new uniforms and a Win...
by Davie Tigers (28+ Division)

Davie Tigers get back in win column despite sloppy and rusty play. Several weeks of no baseball would show on both sides as both starters seemed to suffer with their command. Tigers would take an early 1-0 lead in the 1st as Jose would lead off inning with the first of many walks for Tigers. Carlos would come up big again with 2 outs, nailing a clutch base hit to right to score Jose. But White Sox would come storming back in the bottom half of the inning, as back to back doubles and a single off of Ray Sanabria would quickly lead to 3 runs. White Sox would score another run as an error in the inning at SS would help to increase their lead. Tigers would score 2 more in the 2nd as the Sox starter would walk 5 in the inning. Tigers would hold the Sox scoreless in the bottom of 2nd, and then jump ahead in the 3rd. Tigers would score 4 that inning aided by more walks and a 2 RBI base hit by Max. Sox would fight back in the third inning by scoring 4 more of their own and chasing Tigers starter, Ray. Max would come in and get out of the inning but Sox would ultimately take the lead that inning. Then in the 4th, Tigers would grab the lead for good. Danny would lead inning off with a walk, and in his 1st at bat of the game, Ricardo Luna would crank a 2 run HR into the trees at Lynn. Tigers would go on to take lead 18-8. That lead would shrink in a hurry as Sox would then drop 7 runs on Tigers to close gap. Tigers would add 2 more insurance runs and Cesar would help seal the win for the Tigers on the mound. Much needed win for Tigers and we look forward to playing better next week...
