Bad Field Conditions
by South Florida Rays (28+ Division)

Another hot day for playing Baseball. The Stingrays came out strong with a solo Homerun by Tom Terribile in the 1st inning. Then with some good hitting by the team and another Bomb by Tom the Stingrays produce 5 in the 2nd inning. The Monarchs come back with 3 of their own and another 3 in the 4th tying it up at 6. The Stingrays go back on top in the 5th and the Monarchs come back with 3 to take the Lead and control the game the rest of the way. Hats off to Kevin Parsons for pitching 7 great innings but the Monarchs were too much in the end. Im proud of the Stingrays they played with Big Hearts and Intensity considering the Bad Field Conditions.

Monarchs improve to 3-0
by Perrine Monarchs (28+ Division)

The score is deceiving since the game was close for a majority of the time. Hats off to the Rays who were competitive and determined. A note to the league - be careful when pitching to Tom (Rays) - he hit 2 bombs that should be on SportsCenter. Great team effort by the Monarchs to turn it on when needed.
