D-Backs lose to The Blues...again
by Dade Diamondbacks (28+ Division)

It was another beautiful day for baseball at Flamingo Park. The D-Backs unveiled their new green uniforms. The Blues scored 3 runs in the 1st inning on 3 uncharacteristic walks by D-Backs pitcher Matt Leban. Matt would settle down and pitch well, giving up 0 runs over the next 4 innings for a Blues 3-0 lead after 5 innings. The D-Backs offense sputtered, stammered and stumbled all game, unable to solve Blues pitcher William Dorsey. The D-Backs struck out 17 times on the day. The Blues added 3 runs in the 6th for a 6-0 lead after 6. Bob Villalona pitched the last 2 innings giving up 1 ER and 2 unearned runs for a 9-0 final score.
