The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly! Sure that was a great Clint Eastwood movie, but to have that descibe a critical game for the Tigers was not so great. Tigers would jump all over D-Backs starter in the first with Coach Carnevale leading off with a single to center. Adam would walk, and Carlos would single to load bases. Consecutive doubles by Mike and Andy would have the Tigers looking good. But that's where it would all end. D-Backs would knock Ray right out of the game in the 1st, taking over the game from there. Tigers would not get it done in all facets of the game, committing too many errors, baserunning mistakes, and not getting it done at the plate after the 1st inning. It was an especially disappointing performance given the playoff implications. Tigers will need to do a lot of soul searching and pick up the intensity the last two games. Major changes may be in store for Tigers after this debacle.

D-Backs overcome early 5 run deficit
by Dade Diamondbacks (28+ Division)

It was a hot and humid day at Cypress Bay High school. It would lightly rain at times, but the game was not impacted by the rain. New pitcher Chris Rivero started on the mound for The D-Backs. The Tigers came out in the top of the 1st as if they were shot out of a cannon. They would score 5 runs on 5 hits before the 1st out of the game was recorded. Reliever Mario Figueredo came in and pitched well for The D-Backs, stopping the bleeding for a 5-0 early lead for The Tigers. Fortunately, The D-Backs' offense also came out in high gear in the 1st and put up 5 runs as well on 5 hits, including a homerun by Xavier Ubiera, knocking out Tigers starter Ray Sanabria with only 1 out in the inning. The Tigers did not score in the 2nd inning. The D-Backs would put up another 5 runs in the 2nd for a 10-5 lead on 3 consecutive doubles by Ricky Rodriguez, Mario Figueredo, and Larry Hernandez, then a homerun by Ivan Asension. The D-Backs would go on to score 2 in the 3rd, 6 in the 4th, and 2 in the 5th for a 20-5 final score in 5 innings. It was a balanced effort for The D-Backs, with 12 players scoring at least 1 run. Mario Figueredo, Andy Chavarriaga and Ivan Asension each had 3 hits on the day. Good game to Coach Carnevale and the classy Tigers.
