| The Southern Yankees rounded back into form with an offensive onslaught against their crosstown rival Boca Mets. more to follow...Melvyn Martinez was 'muy fuente' pitching 6 strong innings for the win. He also smacked a long bomb along with 3 other hits to lead the team. Reidy Olivo stroked 4 hits including a massive shot 3 run homer which broke the game open. Sam Bartoletta smacked 4 hits and made a highlight acrobatic catch on a foul pop that most catchers would never get to. Eric Judd also smashed 4 hits to lead the Southern Yankees offense. Hats off to the Boca Mets and sure we will see you again later in the season with a closer result. Avi Kerzner & Fermin Fernandez had two hits for the Mets and are stellar all around players. The Southern Yankees continue the Summer season with a contest against the talented Miami Pirates who can light up the scoreboard.
